Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday invited the Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Puducherry to the Hockey World Cup 2023, scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela next month. On behalf of Naveen Patnaik, Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari met Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath this evening at Lucknow and handed the invitation for the mega sporting event. Similarly, Prafulla Kumar Mallik met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Patna and handed the invitation for the World Cup
on behalf of CM Naveen Patnaik. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Odisha was also present on this occasion. Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak met the Chief Minister of Puducherry N. Rangaswamy this evening at Puducherry and handed the invitation of CM Naveen Patnaik, inviting Rangaswamy to the Hockey World Cup 2023. Rangaswamy said that people of Jagannath Dham need no appointment or protocol to meet him and thanked the CM Naveen Patnaik for the invitation.
