Paralakhemundi : Maoists martyr’s week has started from today. Maoists have called on posters and various mediums in southern Odisha to celebrate Martyr’s week.
But there is no effect of this in Gajapati district. There is no poster of Maoists regarding the celebration of Martyr’s week in Gajapati.
On the other side, the Gajapati District Police has been fully alert and observing all the activities and the information has been received that police patrolling has been doubled in the entire district.
Gajapati-Kandhamal border, Gajapati’s Adaba Police Station IIC Anand Chandrapatra said, Maoists martyrdom week has been completely no effect in the area.
Due to various public relations camps, social services etc of police, public has come close to police in Adaba area. So the Maoists have become influential in Adava Police Station Area.
