Four lakh govt jobs given in past 4 years, claims Yogi

Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has claimed that under Mission Rozgar in the state, government jobs have been provided to about 4 lakh youths in a fair and transparent manner on a large scale in the last four years.

He said in all the selection examinations, the eligible candidates were recruited in a time bound manner following the rules. He has said that the recruitment process will be continued in a transparent and fair manner in the coming times by moving forward with full speed.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is working with full commitment for the welfare of villages, poor, farmers, laborers, women, youth etc. “Under Mission Rozgar, more and more youth have been linked with jobs and self-employment. The recruitments are done by the state government with complete transparency and honesty, providing opportunities to the merit and talent in the government jobs. Following the rules of reservation, work has been done to advance the people of poor and deprived sections of the society,” CM added.

A spokesperson of the State Government said here on Sunday that under the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, the exercise instructor and Regional Youth Welfare and Regional Development Dal Officer (General Selection) Competitive Examination-2018, 28 and Regional Youth Welfare and Regional Training Officers have been appointed. The final selection result for the selection of 531 candidates of Vikas Dal Adhikari has been declared.

The spokesman said that on October 16, 2020, appointment letters were distributed to 31,277 assistant teachers of the Basic Education Council during the Corona period. After that, online appointment letters/posting orders were issued to 3,317 assistant teachers of government secondary schools. Appointment and posting letters were distributed to 1,438 newly selected junior engineers of Irrigation and Water Resources Department. Appointment letters were distributed to about 37,000 newly selected assistant teachers of government primary schools. Appointment and posting letters were distributed to 3,209 newly selected tube well operators of Irrigation and Water Resources Department.

The spokesman said that appointment letters were distributed to the newly selected 1065 Ayurveda/Homeopathic Medical Officers of the Department of AYUSH. Online posting and appointment letters were distributed to a total of 436 assistant teachers of government secondary schools. Appointment letters were distributed to 97 candidates selected for the post of Sub-Divisional Officer in the State Subordinate Services (General Selection/Divyangjan Special Selection) Examination-2018. Appointment letters were distributed to 271 newly selected Block Education Officers under Basic Education Department. For the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Provincial Police Service, appointment letters were distributed to the selected candidates through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.
