Paralakhemundi : Near Block & Tehsil offices of Rayagada block newly opened liquor shops hobnobbing people’s movement particularly on dire straits of corona jinx. Excise department through lottery system sanctioned those liquor shops, may be ploy to collect more revenue but rather that will distract more violence. Owing to such danger expectations, public particularly women of Rayagada block openly challenge d to close such shops particularly grievances pulling areas. This will more affect on those hand to mouth families where now even minimum earnings too screwed.
So women delegates led by Sumitra Mandal, Suraji Mandal, Lipi Sabar, Gurunath Sabar, Abhi Sabar Maheshwar Gamango, Jhunu Karjee, Baban Sabar & Rajeswari Sabar with more than 100 delegates given their demand to Lilabati Acharya, Tehsildar to stop such liquor shops near government offices. Tehsildar Lilabati Acharya taken stock of their grievances & assured to take action.
