Paradip: To give a message of road safety awareness, Aahwan Combines, a leading social organization of Paradip organised a street play at Model Police Station square in Paradip on Saturday.
The artists of Dukhiram Swain Theater organization of Jagatsinghpur attracted the attention of public to follow traffic rules. On the occasion, IOCL Pipeline DGM Debabrata Mohanty and Paradip Model Police Station IIC Rajani Kant Samal has joined as the chief guest and respected guests accordingly.
Among others journalist Swadhincheta Das Mohapatra were present as the guests. The guests also spread awareness by holding placards with messages of road safety.
In her speech, Paradip IIC sri Samal said that, such street plays left behind a promising impact on motorists, infusing introspection and consciousness to desist from talking over mobile phone while holding the steering, drunken driving and speeding.
The event was organized by Combine’s president Sagar Kumar Biswal, secretary Pravas Chandra Swain, Pramod Das, Sumant Das, Nirjhar Kumar Jena, Tribhuban Pradhan and coordinated by all the members of Aahwan Combines.
